ATM

There are three ATMs in the terminal; Greater Building Society and Newcastle Permanent Building Society ATMs are located adjacent to the security screening point in the departure lounge, and another Newcastle Permanent Building Society ATM is located in the arrivals hall.

Disability Access Facilitation Plan

Newcastle Airport's Disability Access Facilitation Plan outlines the services and facilities available for our customers (and their aides) who have special needs. Disabled parking

Dedicated disabled parking spaces are in a convenient location in every car park. These are clearly marked and are reserved for passengers with cars displaying a valid ‘disability’ card. A disabled pick-up area is located at the arrivals end of the terminal with a wheelchair ramp. The car must display a valid ‘disability’ card and the driver must stay with the vehicle at all times.

Parent’s room

A parent’s room is located within the amenities precinct in the terminal, opposite Gate 2. The room is equipped with baby change facilities, and a chair for nursing. There are also baby change facilities and nappy bins in all disabled toilets throughout the terminal: in check-in, departures, international departures, and near Gate 7.

Smoking area

Smoking is not permitted inside the terminal, near doorways, or along any part of any covered walkway. Newcastle Airport has provided designated outside smoking area within the Short Stay Car Park adjacent to the departures end of the terminal.

Toilets

Toilets are located in check-in, in the centre of the departure lounge, and in the arrivals hall.

Trolleys

Baggage trolleys are available at the check-in and arrivals ends of the terminal at a charge of $5 per trolley. A $1 reward is provided when the trolley is returned to the trolley bay.

Transport

Conveniently located outside the terminal, transport to and from the airport includes, buses, car rental, shuttle buses, and taxis. Please visit the Information Services desk, or call (02) 4928 9822 for more information on prices, bookings and timetables.

Wheelchairs

Wheelchairs are available upon request from your airline or by approaching a Newcastle Airport Operations staff member.

Wifi – FREE

Newcastle Airport provides free-of-charge wireless internet facilities throughout the terminal. Go to our wireless internet page for access instructions.
