Community group presentations

Newcastle Airport is committed to working with and engaging the community in which it operates.  One of the greatest services that the Airport its offers is an education program for community groups and schools.  

The Airport has experienced representatives who travel around the Hunter, Central Coast and Mid North Coast to present to small groups about the Airport and its importance to the community.  A wide range of groups have requested talks from Rotary and Probus clubs, to local business clubs and chambers of commerce.  The presentation is generally half hour, followed by the opportunity for participants to ask Airport related questions..  Flexibility is factored into each discussion, with the Airport representative more than happy to work with individual groups to tailor a presentation according to specific requirements.  At the conclusion of the presentation, participants are given a complimentary take-home information pack about Newcastle Airport.  

As part of the Community Engagement program, Newcastle Airport also offers small community groups the opportunity to participate in a unique behind-the-scenes tour of the Airport. Each tour is hosted by Airport representatives who have extensive aviation experience. A great follow-up to the information provided in the presentation, an Airport tour can be arranged for post-presentation or instead of a presentation.
