For the past three years, Newcastle Airport has invited schools taking part in the Schools Program to let their imaginations go wild with a canvas artwork that depicts Christmas at an airport. Newcastle Airport provides the school with a large blank canvas banner for students to decorate with paints, crayons, glitter and collage. The banners are displayed in the terminal during the busy Christmas period In appreciation of the student’s efforts, Newcastle Airport presents schools with a certificate and cheque.
