Disabled parking at Newcastle Airport

Newcastle Airport has accessible car parking spaces available in the Platinum, Gold and Silver car parks.  All pathways leading to the terminal from the Platinum, Gold and Silver car parks are compliant with Australian accessibility standards ensuring ease of access for all users. 

Newcastle Airport has also created a specific drop-off and pick-up zone for persons with a disability – this zone is located outside the arrivals door at the eastern end (arrivals end) of the building.  Due to security regulations, cars are unable to be left unattended in this area, so it is suggested that if you are picking up a passenger who has a disability, it is best to park in the Gold Car Park, locate your passenger, and direct then to the pick-up zone.
