Working at NTL

Newcastle Airport Pty Limited offers a diverse range of career opportunities in fields including airport operations, business development, security, property and leasing, maintenance, project management, finance and accounting, marketing and communication, human resources, WHSE, and IT.

Our corporate offices are in the heart of the aviation activity, located next to our busy operations centre within the terminal building. We have a team of around 50 staff working directly for Newcastle Airport.  This might seem surprisingly small, particularly when the Airport is one of the Hunter region’s largest infrastructure assets.

Newcastle Airport Pty Limited is committed to workplace diversity and promotes an inclusive working environment.  If you are passionate about success, teamwork, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, you will find Newcastle Airport a great place to work.

Kicking goals

Once a year we clear out 24 hours to work on our goals and plans for the coming 12 months. We throw in free lunch (who said there’s no such thing?) and get all our department heads together to dream up the future of Newcastle Airport.

Prime location

Our offices are located in the suburb of Williamtown in picturesque Port Stephens, about a 25-minute drive from Newcastle’s CBD.

The Newcastle CBD – with its eclectic shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars – is nestled between the beach and the harbour, making it a lifestyle-friendly city, and is complemented by the importance Newcastle Airport places on work/life balance.

The office

Grab yourself a cup of joe from the complimentary tea and coffee supplies in the office kitchen, or if you don’t feel confident in getting the milk-to-coffee ration right, grab your choice of caffeinated beverage from any

one of the cafes in the Airport terminal.

Our offices are open plan. Conversation, collaboration, and cheekiness foster a great team spirit.  Add in the large windows boasting beautiful views over the apron (tarmac) and you rarely get the chance to forget you’re lucky enough to work at an airport(!!!).

Get moving

We’ve arranged great partnerships with local gyms so you’ve no excuse not to get moving and stay fit and healthy.  We’re true believers in healthy body = healthy mind.
