As Australia’s sixth largest regional airport, we work closely with our airline partners, Eastern Air Services, FlyPelican, Link Airways, Jetstar, Qantas and Virgin Australia delivering direct flights to Australia’s major centres and onward connections to other overseas destinations.

We have direct flights to Adelaide, Ballina/Byron, Brisbane, Cairns, Canberra, Cobar, Gold Coast, Lord Howe Island, Melbourne, Sunshine Coast, Sydney and Whitsundays Coast.

Newcastle Airport is fast becoming the region's airport of choice for flying both domestically and internationally. We’ve become a preferred hub for international travellers flying from Brisbane, Melbourne and the Gold Coast.

Starting your trip at Newcastle Airport and hubbing through an international airport can give you a more seamless travel experience, often with cheaper flights, cheaper parking and without the stress of driving to a capital city airport.

Please check directly with your airline for current flight schedules and any changes to schedules.
